Growth Excellence

Evolution of Plastivision India
The first Plastivision India (PVI) was organised by AIPMA in 1992 at Mumbai with 120 Exhibitors covering an area of 2700 sq.mtrs. The second PVI was held in Chennai in 1993, which coincided with the silver jubilee celebrations of CIPET. The number of exhibitors at Chennai were 100 and an area of 2000 sq.mtrs. was covered. Encouraged by the response and support from the India Plastics Industry, the need was felt to move to NSE. Thus, the third PVI was organized in 1995 at Mumbai, where an area of 10000 sq.mtrs. was occupied by 270 exhibitors. The fourth show was held in 1998 again at NSE at Mumbai with an area of 14500 sq.mtrs. with over 325 exhibitors. The fifth PVI show was held in 2001, and although the industry was passing through recession, 325 exhibitors occupied an area of close to 13000 sq.mtrs.
