PLASTIVISION INDIA 2004 Exhibition
– 6th National Exhibition& Seminar organsied by AIPMA was held from 23rd to 27th December 2004 at N.S.E. Complex, Goregaon (East), Mumbai and it was a great show with vigour and excitement. Plastivision India 2004 - organized once in three years - was one of the important National Trade Shows of the Indian Plastics Industry featuring various segments of the industry. Due to the credibility established by AIPMA, in organizing such successful trade shows since 1992, PVI 2004 was a bigger show extending to the second hall spread over 19000 sq.mtrs. in Hall 1 & Hall 5 comprising over 520 exhibitors from different segments of the industry. The registration counters - for the first time - were setup in the A.C. Hall No.2 to regulate visitors to the exhibition halls as well as the seminar. The exhibition highlighted the industry’s growth and progress and also proved that India is emerging as one of the most promising hub for plastics. The visitors’ influx set a new record and according to reports, there were visitors from all over the country as well as neighbouring nations. Business visitors from UAE, Middle East as well as USA were present at the exhibition and had tie-ups with Indian Exhibitors this time. The exhibitors were happy that they had a good volume of the business generated at this event. It was indeed a mega event for the entire plastic industry where participants participants could converge to establish new relations and conceive new ideas. This event has also provided an opportunity to various businesses to showcase their product innovation and technology to the world and at the same time gain new insights into the latest technologies available. Interaction with internationally renowned companies in the field will certainly broaden the horizon of our entrepreneurs to understand the intricacies of the product presentation and value addition for which PVI proved to be an ideal platform.
