ARM International to Host Hands-on Advanced Seminar in
Rotational Moulding
The Association of Rotational Moulders (ARM) International
will be hosting a Hands-on Advanced
Seminar in Rotational Moulding on July 4-6, 2005 at the
ICO Polymers UK Ltd., Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England.
This three-day seminar, presented by Professor Roy
Crawford, Vice-Chancellor at the University of Waikato,
New Zealand, is intended to provide an understanding of
the rotational moulding process through a combination
of presentations and four practical workshops. Several industry
guest speakers will be on hand to assist with the
presentations.
Rotational moulding topics to be addressed during the
seminar include: polymer grinding, moulding operations,
effects of mould release agents, effects of moulding with
pigments/foam, post mould operations, advance
rotomoulding concepts, computer simulation of
rotomoulding and much more. During the workshops,
attendees will receive “hands-on” experience using laboratory
rotational moulding equipment and will be able to
conduct trials.
