How do amusement parks act as a medium of
entertainment? What according to you have been the major reasons for
increasing number of amusement parks and water parks in the recent
years?
Leisure and amusement is a sunrise industry
and has witnessed unprecedented revolution of sorts during the last
five years. Leisure and amusement/ entertainment industry is broadly
classified into two major segments:
Entertainment Parks
- Amusement Parks, Water Parks, Theme Parks.
Family entertainment Centre
A concept like an amusement park works simply because it provides
good, clean and wholesome entertainment to the entire family. Traditionally,
all forms of leisure and entertainment are passive in nature. Active
forms of leisure and entertainment like amusement parks and water
parks provide clean, wholesome and complete family entertainment with
a variety of entertainment elements like games, rides, mind blowing
jigsaw puzzles, contests and video/simulation games under one roof.
The main reason for increasing number of amusement and water parks
is that people are tired of conventional form of entertainment. India
is all set to enjoy the new forms of entertainment available to people
in the developed countries. The new forms of entertainment like amusement
parks, water parks etc. are the most innovative form of leisure and
entertainment. They act as stress busters. They also act as a part
of consumer lifestyle.

There are advantages of using plastics plastics
in amusement parks as plastic is readily accessable, cost-effective
and available in all forms and colours. Plastics can provide a larger
shelf-life to products and has a lot of endurance value. It can be
well processed, is portable and light weight. They are safe, rust-free,
have a cushioning effect and can be moulded easily.
Where does India stand on the global map
in terms of advanced tooling and machinery for amusements parks?
The amusement industry in India is still
in its nascent stage but expecting a huge growth in the coming years.
As a result, the advanced tooling and machinery sector is also growing
fast.
